Snowy Night, Creepy Night
Last Saturday night—when I walked Emma, the old lady dog who now lives in the garage instead of the kennel because she needs to take arthritis meds on a regular basis—I carried the camera and snapped a few pictures of snowy stuff.
I'm amazed how creepy snow-covered things look at night, like these branches . . .
. . . or these bare Rose of Sharon bushes.
The pin oak's branches look sort of like a dragon. . .
. . . but these branches are just spooky.
The house looked especially ghostly.
That's not a green alien in the photo below—just the outside light.
Emma's eyes even look a little creepy.
The branches of the maple tree in the side yard look surreal . . .
. . . even where maple branches meet boxwood and redtop.
The night was quiet but creepy. But what about the next day? The rising sun revealed some creep had driven on our lawn. This is how the Novelty Road side looked facing east:
The view from my driveway shows that the creep either entered from—or exited into—my driveway :
Today, I drove to Polecat Creek Farm—about two miles away—and what did I find? Damage to our hayfield:
Looks like the creep had a good time driving in circles. Here's a closer look at his tire tracks:
Saturday night was creepy in more ways than one.

The creep drove on the Listening Hill side of my yard, too:

I'm sorry to hear about your creeper driving the vehicle over your lands, but I think the nighttime pictures are beautiful.
Your night time pictures are pretty but very, very cold looking.
Some people have absolutely no sense. I don't understand what they get out of damaging someone's property.
Becky, those night pictures are gorgeous! They look like paintings!
